2011 Highlights
Deacon Jason Pavich incenses the faithful at the National Shrine of the Basilica
of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C., Nov. 19. Bishop Paul G.
Bootkoski served as principal celebrant and homilist at Mass at the Marian
shrine, where about 2,000 pilgrims from the diocese journeyed to mark the 30th
anniversary of the diocese’s founding by then-Pope John Paul II, now blessed.
