St. Theodore Church Sanctuary Project
You most likely have noticed that the
church was in the process of having its walls painted. Now that that phase has
been completed, the next segment of the Sanctuary Project will begin soon. Adjacent
the crucifix, on both sides, will be two paintings. Painting one will be of St.
Theodore; painting two will be of Blessed John Paul II. Blessed John Paul II’s
painting will be unveiled on Divine Mercy Sunday, the day of his beatification. The art work is priced at $2,000 each.
My heartfelt thanks
go to the two families who have pledged to donate the funds for the
paintings. An inscription with the donor's name will be affixed at the
bottom of the painting.

_______________________________________________________________________________________ Thank You!
I would be remiss if I didn't tell you how
very much I appreciate your gifts to this project.
Your generosity made the
beautification of the Sanctuary possible. We will soon be purchasing the leaves
for the tree in the Narthex and also the plaque, which will displayed also in
the Narthex. If others are interested in
donating, there is still time to purchase a leaf or have a name placed on the
plaque. Call the Parish Office for details if you are interested.
My thanks are extended to Sam Sponaro who donated his time and
talent to all of the woodworking. His work is outstanding and his generosity
tremendous! Thank you Paul Boccolini and
Andrew Ryan for helping Sam put back the religious art work on the
Sanctuary wall.
We now proudly display a
statue of St. Theresa in the church. Funds were given to us by Mark, Kara, Grace, Liam and Ryan Dellinger
to restore and enhance the original statue. Many thanks to you for your
kindness!
The
cleaning crew worked hard and long (several times) to make the church
presentable during and after construction. Sincere thanks to them for their volunteerism
and dedication to the church! Great job!
Again, I thank all of you!
Father Zenek, S.D.S.
